It is fitting on the last day of the presidency of George W. Bush that we acknowledge that it was President Bush who gave us the Class Action Fairness Act (and other things which are beyond the scope of this blog).  The Class Action Fairness Act was one of the first bills President Bush signed into law in his second term.  So, please join the CAFA Law Blog in thanking President Bush for CAFA.  For without CAFA, we at the CAFA Law Blog would have to really practice law or find some other boring federal legislation to write about like the EFCA.
