About CAFA Law Blog

McGlinchey Stafford, PLLC publishes the CAFA Law Blog. The CAFA Law Blog is an online resource for information, cases and insights regarding the Class Action Fairness Act of 2005, or “CAFA.” CAFA’s enactment in February 2005 has brought about the most sweeping changes to class action practice in a generation. Today’s rapidly evolving class action landscape is now virtually unrecognizable to many experienced class action practitioners, parties and courts. Ambiguities and uncertainties in class action law and jurisprudence following CAFA’s passage pose immediate opportunities for attorneys who learn how to safely maneuver across this foreign terrain, and dangerous traps for those who do not. The CAFA Law Blog hopes to be a guide along this new landscape.

The CAFA Law Blog is designed to be interactive, and to allow you to respond easily to our posts with questions or comments, through its “Comments/Questions” buttons. The “CAFA Search” button allows you to search the site’s contents and posts. In addition, the CAFA Law Blog’s email notification system allows you to “subscribe” to the CAFA Law Blog and receive notice of new posts. Content may be syndicated or pushed to you through a “news-feed” reader on your computer. The email and syndication features are available through the “Subscribe” button.
